For the New york guys, that means ice cream trucks, open fire hydrants (Johnny pumps), playing out in the street until the sun went down, and barbecues. we look at songs that remind us of the simpler time when all we wanted was to not go to school. Also, this notion extended well into our 30s trading school for work.

Oddly enough this genre contains some of the most badass tracks, so much so that these songs have been sampled time after time.
